Consultancy Services

Chance Encounters offers a full range of training and consultancy services.

The Company has worked at various heritage sites to develop educational activities and has produced support packs relevent to specific locations. It also advises site management on the content of audio visual presentations and has prepared apropriate exhibition panels and guide books.

Chance Encounters works with schools, including cluster groups, to develop a range of activities for use in the classroom.

Training in live interpretation - both first and third person - is tailored to individual locations and is suitable for voluntary assistants or professional actors.

Training in customer care can also be provided.

The company works closely with other consultancy groups to provide a complete package for any heritage project.

Media

Chance Encounters does extensive work with radio and television companies as presenters, performers or behind the scenes advisors. It provided a murder mystery for Welsh language learners on behalf of the BBC, has helped a German television company with a German speaking King Arthur(!) and gave advise to would-be tourists on Radio Austin in Texas. We are very used to unusual requests!

Recently, the company has been very active in scripting and filming sections for inclusion in several heritage based websites. Activities have ranged from demonstrations of Roman cookery to presenting some of the many facets of the Chartist uprising.

Team memnbers have appeared in a variety of audio visual displays and can be glimpsed or heard at a wide range of sites. They have also been involved in the production of DVD's aimed at both the educational and tourism markets. This work is undertaken as far afield as Ireland, Germany and America.

Chance Encounter works closely with several public relations companies and have substantial experience providing entertainment for journalists!
