The Company

Chance Encounters Heritage Interpretation Theatre Company is based at Merthyr Tydfil in Mid Glamorgan. It is a member of the Independent Theatre Council, the International Museum Theatre Alliance and the Theatre Education Network. It was founded by Val Williams, who is now the Artistic Director and most active member of the Company.

Since 1995 the Company has grown rapidly in size and reputation. It is now busy on a full time basis in the fields of education, heritage, tourism, corporate events, television, radio, audio and video productions.

Active throughout Wales and other parts of the UK, the promotion of tourism has also required appearances in Ireland, Germany and America.
